Recently I have been working for a company designing and maintaining their Collaborative Invention Web tools. Their website allows inventors to get together virually and Collaborate on projects that ultimatly result in patents or intellectual property. Its an interesting look at the world. |

 DIY Weekend Part II

With Christa off doing rehersals for a local production of Grease, I decided that this weekend I wanted to get the (still not plugged in) hot-tub off the ground. $150 of lumber later, we have this monstrosity in progress. At this point in time I still need to do the roof, and run power out to it (and I might as well power the shed while I am at it.) But still, it was a fairly productive weekend. |

Sony Online has lifted the NDA on Star Wars Galaxies. Thank god. Now all the Naysayers who have been flirting around the NDA and complaining about (basically) being disappointed - have some hard proof to the contrairy. Here is the website of a guy i met in beta. Most of the testers I know are posting shots here so the pubic can see them, and make their OWN decisions about the game. | |

Greg Dean over at www.reallifecomics.com got back to me today on a drawing that I asked him about a while ago, and it sounds like he is all set to get it whipped up and out the door :) [For anyone who is living in a cave, Real Life is a daily (yes .. daily) humour webcomic about geeky stuff. Greg doesn't miss NEARLY as many days as Piro does, and he does five comics a week, instead of three *grin*.] |

DIY Weekend

We got a lot done this weekend on the basement-gameroom. Drywalling, painting the ceiling, hauling 2 cruiser loads of stuff to the Goodwill. [Including such wonderful dontations like a n64, a playstation, stacks of games, a dreamcast and other decent stuff - I kept the Neo Geo though :P - hopefully some kids will get them that normally wouldn't be able to.] Click the image for some recent pictures of our progress. | |

I finally gave in and ordered some Bawls from ThinkGeek.com. I tried this drink for the first time like 2 years ago at a local 'hip' cafe` called tomatos, which promptly went out of business. I have been trying to find it in an actual store since. [I would rather support a brick and mortar near me give the chance.] However .. f*k them, I asked multiple times and no one ever did anything about it .. So i just scheduled a regular shipment of them from ThinkGeek.com.
